  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

    BC Gaming Event Licence #137369

    1 for $15.00; 4000 tickets
    3 for $40.00; 34500 tickets
    6 for $60.00; 60000 tickets
    25 for $250.00; 6250 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $591,250.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: December 31, 2022 at 11:59:59 p.m. PST

    Draw
    50/50 draw: January 6, 2023 at 12:00:00 p.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at 2891 Main Street, Vancouver BC V5V 3P1

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://brightnightsraffle.com/winners on January 6, 2023.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: brightnightsraffle@burnfund.org. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at brightnightsraffle@burnfund.org should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

The Bright Nights 50/50 is an extension of the Burn Fund’s single largest fundraising event, Bright Nights in Stanley Park.

Proceeds fund burn survivor programs year-round, including Burn Camp and the Home Away Program, which provides accommodations to survivors, fire fighters and their families who must travel to Vancouver for medical treatment.
